Premium, Sport, Navigation, a few accessories
MSRP: $41,780
Invoice: $38,257
Selling Price:$36,257 + tax, tag, title.

I say go for it. I ended up paying $41,000 for mine which includes tax, title, tag transfer. I have all the options you mentioned and got it with wood trim, which adds a bit. I have zero regrets on the price I paid though, but $38.3 sounds too good to pass.

goto edmunds and see if there are any incentives in your area. Then take that amount off of the invoice price. That is the HIGHEST you should pay before tax, tag and title. I usually try around 2k under that price and then end up buying a car for about $500 - 1k below invoice and incentives.

Good luck!

I purchased a new 2009 G37 Journey Sedan with Premium, Sport, Nav & black grill on May 25 2010 for $33,000 at 1.9% for 60 months.
This was one of the last new 2009 sedans in metro Atlanta. I was initially looking at the 2010s, but this price was too good to pass up.

Hey, that's exactly my car! Same color combo (good taste, BTW) and down to the exact same MSRP. I paid $36,100.

Either there was a typo in your post or this was not a typical transaction. Now way getting this car for $30k (If so, I would buy 10 then resell at $33k and got myself a free car.)

I ended up getting the last 09 they had on the lot. MSRP was right around $37,000 and I got it for just under $28,000.
Another dealer had a maxed out 09 sport MSRP was $41K+ and offered it to me for $32K.

I don't know what it is about car buying, but people on the Internet always leave out the details. There was probably money down and/or a trade that's not being mentioned here that brings the deal into parity with others. A dealer isn't going to lose money on a car. Period.

I see this even more with leases. "I got $329/month!" Then people start digging, and find out the guy put down $3,500, paid crazy security deposits, and got a leftover 09 with zero options on a 10k mile / 48 month lease. The devil's in the details.

right and you think anybody would admit that they payed msrp even if they did? you will always hear how there was this perfect deal in response to a "how much did you pay " question.

like I said earlier...dont worry about what other people payed. check edmunds for incentives. Take those incentives off of the invoice of the car. Subtract another 2k, if the dealer bites...you have a GREAT deal. Even if you get 1k off that price you got a good deal. If you can only get invoice minus incentives then you got a deal that the dealer is happy with
