Question about my new car
Question about my new car
I just ordered a red G37Xs, the one that they could find has stone interior. Does anyone know if the stone interior has a black steering wheel or is the entire interior stone color?
The blueslate is available with stone. The dash and center console is taupe and the seats, floor and floor mats are stone. You may want to confirm the dash and console color for your order in case it's not what you expected.
I am not real picky, so I would like the black/stone, but if it is all stone thats alright as well. I have seen the pic of the black/stone before and thought that was how the sport came, wasnt sure. So I guess it will be a surprise, but my guess is that it is all stone, the black/stone is probably pretty unique.
I will let you all know.
While I have you guys here, what is your thoughts on the spoiler? The one that the dealer found, I wanted a red sport, didnt have a spoiler. Do you feel the spoiler is cooler than without?
Also what are your impressions of the lighted kickplates, again, mine didnt come with it, but I think it looks pretty cool, what do you guys think?

Hmmm. Sorry, I guess it has changed some for the 2010 model year. My '09 stone interior has the darker black dash & wheel. If you look at the interior pics below it looks like the stone and wheat interiors have a slightly lighter-grayish dash. It's definitely not all stone, though -- the wheel is still darker.
Click on "Interior photos" and scroll all the way to the right, compare the graphite to the stone and you'll see the difference.

I think you need to go to the dealership and look at what is on their lot to get a full understanding of the color.
I believe that the coupe and the sedan have different dash colors for some reason.
I'm not 100% sure but I think the sedan has stone/black and wheat/olive but the coupe has stone/black and wheat/black.
I'm not sure if the Sport package changes anything at all.
I would check out your color on a lot somewhere if it is that big of a concern to you. Either way - you are getting a great car with an awesome color combo - both look great!

I think you can get different combinations. And in my opinion, no matter what color the seats are, the black dash and steering wheel looks much better on this car. The lighter colors for the dash look cheaper and more plasticky
You only get the black dash with charcoal interior on the 2010.
Sport package with stone interior came with a black steering wheel in 2009. My 2009XS interior is colored the same as the first picture of the coupe interior. Non-sport came with a different steering wheel. Don't know if the 2010 is the same but my guess is that it is.

Apparently from the photos at the Infiniti website, it's not the same for 2010. Slightly lighter colored dash & wheel for the stone.
