What do you mean by the lack of support from the dealership? Are you saying they aren't fixing the radio and GPS?
I might be missing exactly what the OP means here because I have the 6MT, but isn't that just the nature of downshifting? When you are in 4th gear at 2000RPM going 40MPH (I'm just making up numbers here for an example -- they're probably wrong), and the car downshifts to 3rd gear, the engine needs to rev up to, say 4000 RPMS to sync up correctly, right? I guess I don't understand what is happening that seems abnormal.
Is there a jolt when downshifting, like in a harsh shift? Or just an rpm rev? Because just a rev sounds more like the rev-matching LightsOut was referring to. Which would likely serve to reduce the physical jolt and reduce wear on the transmission when downshifting.
