Aftermarket sway bars are mounted under your car. They are stiffer than the stock bars and are adjustable to cater to your personal preference. Basically, their main function is to balance the vehicle by helping to control body roll. I have a set and love them. I really noticed a considerable difference in the ride over stock. But to each his own. Someone else may hate the ride of aftermarket sways...

Thank you for explaining. I think the G handles fine, but I don't like that it tilts left and right a little when cornering (my friend's 335i doesn't as much). Is the ride much harsher with the sways on? Is it easy to put on and off? Do you know if something like this would void the warranty?
