Is there front sonar on the G37?

I always thought that there wasn't as I never heard any beeping when pulling up close to objects. However I read this in the manual:

Sonar Display :
When this item is turned ON, the corner/center
sonar indicator will appear when the parking
sensors detect front or rear obstacles near the
bumper.

Then while searching on the internet, I see several sites that list front parking sensors as a feature on the G37 sedan.

I'm going to assume that there is none, because in the diagram in the manual, only the rear sensor areas are shown. What would be a good, stealthy way to install front sensors?

There aren't any front sonars in North American specs. I know they come with them in the middle-east market.

The "best" way to do it is to probably order the EU spec front bumper and parts. You also get headlight washers that way as they're required by EU law on all vehicles with HID headlights. However, that is not the cheapest way to do it.

Only the 2010's have sonars; however, you must get either the premium or navigation package for the vehicle to come equipped with the sonar sensors. Check on Infiniti's website, look at the package details, and it will inform you exactly which package comes with the sonar sensors.

We in the middle east got those since 07 for the sedan and 08 for the coupe. These are available both front and rear and come with a switch in the center console to turn them off. This is also available on EU and JDM G's. I think you guys get them on the 2010 model

Yeah, our 2010's only have sonars in the rear. We also have an option to turn them off by hitting a button next to the trunk release button by the steering wheel. Its a pretty cool feature.

A bit overkill with a review view camera and pain if they're audible, would like to have the M's blind spot intervention system though.

Took a drive in a friends TL-S, I couldn't believe the damn seat belt alarm never went off. I'm so glad we don't have that anoying POS.

They should have put it in the front instead, since we already have a rear view camera for the back.

I live in NYC and feel like I need both front and rear sonar + camera.

front sensors are VERY helpful when getting out of tight spots. I'm pretty sure it won't take much to install the ones on the 2010 to the earlier models.
