G Sedan + Snowboards?

Hi,

Last year I got hooked into snowboarding and would like to purchase my own board.

I measured the trunk pass thru and it can't fit in a snowboard (~155cm board).

Anyone here has a solution for transporting 2 snowboards in the G sedan?

I imagine that the boards might fit in the backseat if I put it diagonally.
Has anyone tried it before?

Thanks!

I have the same size board, fits fine in the backseat. I would put it in a case so it doesn't scratch the interior.

First, I advise you not to take the G to the mountains if it's possible. Cars get damaged from the salt, rocks, debris on the road. In addition, ppl walking with boards, skis, poles, etc is an accident waiting to happen. They can easily scratch or ding up your car if they are not careful. Heck, I've scratched cars myself when walking too close to them.

Tell your homie to drive. That's what I do or I take the family car. I would NEVER take my G to the mountains unless it's in the summer for some canyon runs.
