hey guys i was wondering when and how the awd light comes on, on the dash. I tired hitting the snow button to activate the awd and the light never comes on is there some other way that this is activated or it only comes on when the car senses slip appreciate the reply's thanks

 

Its my understanding that the AWD light will only activate if there is a problem with the AWD system itself. The AWD system is meant to be completely transparent with no user input required.

 

The snow button does not turn on AWD.

 

It's all explained in the manual.

 

The last 2 posts summarize it well. Snow mode has nothing to do with it and the manual will tell you when the light comes on.
