IR camera would be more practical, detect pedestrians and animals in the distance. Add software so it can generate a rising audio tone as proximity increases. Spot speed traps at night. Drive in stealth mode at night for gansta applications. Add a plug in Eye scope and tracking IR like Apache's have and own the night, chain gun optional..lol
lmfao i have an IR cam mounted in my front lower grill. Its not good, it gets white washed by oncoming headlights.

1- Plug the camera to the AUX port..
2- Put a button to show the camera directly at any speed ...
3- You can control this button by swich to camera or the port ; which is in the central console ..
4- If you listen to music by the i-pod, you can use the camera and listen to music at the same time...

I understand both sides of this...one, yes it may be helpful in terms of pulling up to a parking spot or something. But paying $300+ for it is a complete waste of money IMO
Why not just find out where the front of your car is and remember that spot...that is free.

antirice... that was RUDE and unwanted, lets NOT bring politics into a car forum... besides, its a good mod for wanting to be extra careful whats the problem? if you dont like the mod or someone thinks its useless then dont do it! hopefully others will understand that something like this may not ALWAYS be used, but when you DO use it.... you are SOOOO happy you have it.
