GOt he G tinted today. Car had 74% tint from the factory...I put 40% tint on...bringing it to about 27-28%. PErfect tint to me. I think the legal limit is 35%, so I have to be careful.

Looks nice and classy but too light for my taste. I had 35% on my previous car and I always wished I went with the darker tint. 20%* FTW!

*yeah, our legal limit is also 35%, but whatever.

 

I actually think the color of the car makes for lightly tinted windows very nice. It looks very smooth.

looks nice.. gotta get it tinted... whos cares about the legal limit though... cops dont harrass you about that... ive had 3 cars in the last 8 years and every one of them had the 5% limo tint.. love it.. i also live in miami now.. sooo u have to have tints.. the cop cars down here have 5%!! so they cant really break your ***** down here... heres a picture of mine.. just got my g37 less than a month ago..got it tinted a few days later ...$125

It is hilarious you say that because as I just read this I was watching cops in Miami and a cop busted a U-turn for a car who's windows were tinted too dark. Come to find out the guy also had a lb of mary jane on him too.....so are you sure cops don't harass for tint???

I had 20% on my BMW and I had gotten pulled over by a Texas Ranger on a country road in the middle of nowhere...sure enough he pulled out his tint meter and gave me a $200 ticket.

Yes I do understand that the Texas Rangers are the biggest ball busters on the planet (unless you drive a racist jacked up truck).

I'm not saying you shouldn't have your windows tinted dark, I want 15-20% as well but its not worth the hassle to me.

haha I totally understand that!! I've got 20% and have debated if it's worth it to go to 15%...I just LOL'd at "Cops" just b/c when I think of that show I think of some hollywooded up reality show

 

haha okay I will drop the Cops thing but it was very funny to see that right as I was reading the post.

As the cop turned around he immediately said "that car is tinted too dark, lets go see what's going on"

35% is legal in Texas and the sun gets wayyyy too hot here, we need a 20% rule

 

Looks good. BTW... legal tint in MA is 38%, not 35.

 

ive had 15% tint on all my cars for 14 years in FL and never a problem.
