I have read all the old posts about debadging my 2010 g37x.
I love the look...But I'm afraid to do it on my own. Mainly cause i don't want to damage my paint or have ghosting.
Can anyone recommend a good place to get my car debadged by a professional in the Boston area.
I don't mind paying for the piece of mind.

hey its no big issue you dont have to be scared. Just get some goo gone and some dental floss. spray on the goo gone let it sit for a little then take the dental floss and cut through the glue behind the the emblems, and when you take the badges off spray some more goo gone and peel off the left over glue. Its no big deal. I was scared too but i tried and it wasnt that bad.

THe dealer sticker peels off very easy. I did it when picking up the car. They were putting the plates on the car and I ripped it off in front of them. They looked at me and laughed.
Add heat via a hair dryer or similar, and pull it all off. Use some adhesive remover and a good polish, and you're done. No reason to pay for this unless you absolutely can't free yourself up for 30 minutes to get it done.
I tried using floss...it sucked. Fishing line FTW! much stronger, the floss kept breaking. Definitely leave it out in the sun if you can, and you can put some rubbing alcohol on it that'll soften up the glue better then goo gone. Its so easy a caveman can do it, just try it yourself.
Plus on a 2010, it'll come off even easier and I doubt any ghost letters would be there since it hasn't been on the car long.
