tint job done today

I went with 35% all around. Hard to see it from the pictures, and sorry for the crappy quality - taken with my BB but better than nothing.

I don't like it too dark. Harder to see out of at night. I also prefer the look of the same tint all around, and since in CA the law allows for something like 70% on the front windows, going 35% all around is about as far as we can go and not get hassled by the cops all the time.

perfect, I like it light all around also. You'll notice if the cops can see you, they wont mess with you, but if you got that "limo" tint, chances are you'll see the red and blue light show.

I think 35% looks classy and a much less chance of getting pulled over. If I knew I would not get pulled over I would have gotten 20% all around. I think limo makes the car look ghetto, definately not the look I was going for.

Ditto. Maybe 25% is ideal?

absolutely!! Love it. I will most likely put Eibach's on it. And might throw on some 18 or 19" wheels as well with summer rubber. Depends if I end up driving the car more or my wife.

If they had 25% I might consider it, but the place I go has 50%, 35% and 20% and 5%

I want to try and get 10-15%, but my car is black and I want to go for the "murdered out" look, so my opinion is just different. I saw a Lexus ES350 the other day with front windows 20% and the rears were like 50%.. I was like wtf is that bitch thinking?!?!

Looks good! I got 35% this time as well. 20% looks good, but hard to see out at night.

ya - I have tinted a lot of cars. Normally I like to wait 6 months just to make sure they stick around before I pony up the cash. Yes - some have not made it to the tint stage, both new and used!! haha. But I do think this car will be around for awhile - one of the few cars that I am happy driving and that my wife can drive too.

I used to always do 20% rears and 50% fronts. The first car I did 35% all around was a Z06 C5 Corvette. Since then I have been leaning towards the 35%. It kinda depends on the factory tint and interior color how dark it looks. Because I went 35% all around on my S4 too. But it looks darker on that car due to the black interior and maybe the factory tint was darker to start with too. Same tinting place - I've been using him for awhile now.
