"Break-in" period?
stoxbonds.....I say this with sincerity since I was a newbie here too at one point. You're about to really get harassed on here for asking that question. There are a million threads on here for engine break-in. Please do a SEARCH or consult your owners manual.
Just drive it as normal for the 1st 1k, just don't use cruise control so you'll be going through the rpm range rather than having it locked in a certain rpm for an extended period. No need to keep it below 4k rpm, just don't be redlining it. Up to 6k rpm for a brief pass or two won't hurt a ting.
Enjoy your new G! I'd also recommend changing the oil right after your 1k break in. Then change it at 5k and resume your normal oil change schedule.

Around 700 miles on my '10 G37xS, yes she is being driven hard but just avoiding the redline
Once you have owned one of these before, you start to appreciate how hard they want it
