Anyone seen the Motortrend best driver's car?

G didn't make the list for evaluation. However, the hunky cousin(370z Nismo) did. Cayman S rank number one. I think that's fair. But, some of the cars they have there wasn't even on my radar. Example, 135i,CTS,Miata...

Anyone seen that and have an opinion?

the 135i does drive like a go-kart... 370z feels so much lighter than the g37 will... i believe that is how they are naming the cars on that list

Actually, the cars you listed are good enough to be there..
135i(no need to say), CTS-V(Yeah it's V), Miata(It's a poorman's lotus).

But I agree I didn't expect some cars on that list.

No Lotus on the list? S2000? Evo/STI? Mini Cooper?

The usual suspects for "driver's cars" seem to be missing...

I do agree with the Caymen from that list though.

The Porsche Cayman S is a truly great drivers car. I had one, too expensive but what a phenomenal car at the track...

Exactly! I have driven Miata and Lotus, how can Lotus be not on the list instead? The way they pick those cars, price is obviously not part of a concern.

370z is a huge difference in feel over the G37 will....

Like I tell everyone, magazine articles are just opinions . . . .

If they mean daily driver then yeah I can see that. The Lotus is too raw to be a daily driver.

That's a bit of how I felt on the 135i. So, the list they have is very inconsistence on what they want to rank...MT is getting frustrating yr after yr...Like da mayor said, it's an opinion, but even opinion should have a target...
