Car Seems Sluggish all of a Sudden

I seem to be having some sort of new issue with my car. It doesn't spin up like it should, and braking is all of a sudden very touchy. It seems like something is dragging, and that is making the 7 speed AT do a lot more downshifting at lower speeds, which aggravates being able to brake smoothly. I already had the AT software upgrade, and everything seemed fine until a couple of days ago when this happened. Is there a history of stuck calipers or emergency brakes on the 09s or what? Could crud have built up on the rotors to where I need to clean them off by braking from a high speed? The brakes tend to squeal when I back up. I only have 10K on the car, so I would think it wouldn't be the brakes. I don't drive the car hard at all. Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.

Nope, no lights or anything to indicate something is acting up.

Do you smell burning brakes? If it were your brakes dragging, you would smell it.

No, nothing that would be obvious at all. Didn't know if there was yet another common G37 issue that I was dealing with on top of the high-pitched frequency issue.

Depending on your location your gas stations may be getting there "winter blend" of gasoline which usually causes decreases in mpg and possibly less power.

This showed up last year at a dyno day; all the stock Gs were falling into two ranges depending on the gas they had...

And, of course some idiots showed up with 87 in their tank

It's the winter blend fuel. I noticed the change over as well. The throttle response is not as crisp. That's the only real change I could feel.

It's pretty bad...not sure that just gas would make it drive this poorly.

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with the brakes. Are your tires up on pressure? Big underinflation can make your car feel dumpy. I agree that it's probably just the gas blend.

Everything is perfect...tires, fluids, etc., so I'm not sure what the issue is. It's down too much HP for it to simply be the seasonal change of gas mixtures.
