Rear bumper protection pad

I was just curious if anyone has one of those rear bumper pads that store in the trunk for parking on the street? Something like the bumper badger or bumper bully? I got my gf a bumper badger for her car a few years ago, but was wondering if there is anything better or recommended by everyone?

I've never seen those used in Southern CA. I'd just park somewhere else.

Yea, I see them on a lot of cars. I personally hate how they look on the car. Many people just leave them on and drive with them. I suppose they work but boy are they ugly.
