About maintainance
Hi Guys, my G37 sedan is almost 4000 miles,
I kinda got confused about the oil change and scheduled maintainance, my questions are:
1Do I have to change oil every 3750 miles? or can I change oil every 5000 miles?
2. Do I have to stick to schdule1 or 2? or any plan listed in the manual?
3. I'm leasing my car, do I have to change oil in the dealer ship?
Thanks!
btw, I did search first but did not get the answer I want.

1. 5,000 will be fine.
2. The schedules in the manual are purely recommendations.
3. No, as long as you have receipts to prove you had oil changes performed.
Since your car is leased, I wouldn't spend too much money on it by trying to get oil changes every 3,750 mi or following the schedules to the dime.

^+1 As long as you change your oil within 7500 miles you're OK. Above that and you make have trouble with any warranty claims. You can have your oil changed anywhere - just keep the receipts as proof of service.
