Question XM Browse Categories?

Hello All,

I browsed for a bit, and did not see a post relating to this, just wondering is there a way to 'browse' the XM stations in categories? Or see a list of all the channels other then scrolling through?

the only thing I've been able to do in regards to categories is hitting the 'seek-cat' button which cycles to the next category, first station.

no luck in the manual, or at least the info I have...

none the less, still Loving the G37.

Hope all is well,

Dave

There is no browsing categories function; stand alone XM receivers may offer this functionality.

The browsing function for XM sux.
I printed out a list of stations from their website & leave it in my console for reference if needed.

IMHO the car needs more station presets.

BTW - try to FF or REW using the Music Box - another FAIL

Thanks for the info, kinda weak funtionality, but at least it has xm

gonna have to use that suggestion and print the stations, or keep on iPhone (another thing I wished worked better with the car, but that's Apple's fault)..

Are you saying that it's not possible to FF or REW music played from the Music Box?

Wow, if that's the case then what good is it? Between having to burn music to playable CDs, then capping the bitrate of the rips, and then also no FF or REW, it's really starting to sound like more trouble than it's worth. Maybe Infiniti should've just left that stuff out (i.e. music box and CF slot) and lowered the price of the NAV package.

Actually, you can FF and REW playing music box. To FF, hold down the "Track" button. To REW, hold down the "Seek" button. If you just press the buttons without holding, they skip to the next track or rewind to the previous track.

Thanks - I learned something new today!
I'll need to go give it a try...
