Gauge Dials on Startup
The first 15 seconds of this vid shows the gauge dials on a 2009 FX flipping to Max on startup. The "Dial Dance" on startup looks kind of cool and sporty.

However, from what I've seen, it seems that the G's don't do this, correct? Is there any particular reason why not?
Just wondering.

It doesn't really bother me that much though. Since as I said I see it in my dads car.
Not sure if you were being sarcastic or not, but I highly doubt it would coast much or anything to implement this. Just put in the programming for the the gauge dials to go up and back when the car is started.

look at the features the euro and japanese spec coupes get that the US market won't. it's all b/c of costs and what Infiniti/Nissan think the US market wants and doesn't need.
My wife’s Lexus IS250 does that, and I really like the feature. Also, her instrument panel has some other features my G does not have, like light rings around both the speedometer and tach that change color (none, yellow, red) based on driver settings for speed and RPM. For example, she has her speedometer ring set to go to yellow at 75mph and red at 85. She’s had no speeding tickets with this car.

Atleast the rpms will do that.
