Not a good deal. I got mine, with Nav, Premium, Sport, and Lip Spoiler for $39K even! Negotiate. You could probably even get a better deal than I got there or elsewhere! Walk away! You are paying MSRP! Seems like all they gave you free was a $40 oil change!

Also, the currency in your post, is it US dollars?

Wouldn't it make sense to ask this first before you tell him it's a bad deal?

If you'll notice right under his user name it says his location is Toronto, Canada. That is a good price for Canada. The base G37 sedan starts at $38,000 in Canada. MSRP for his car is $50,315 plus taxes and fees so yes, he is getting a good deal.

I paid a little under $50,000 for my fully loaded G37xS. MSRP on it is $53,000. Cars in Canada cost about 20% - 30% more than in the US even after the exchange rate.

Lets not fight boys... I was hoping it was a good price for the car. The funny thing was when I asked I wanted the rear spoiler, he told me that it was 799 to have it put on. I told him that it wasn't the case and the Infiniti.ca website showed as 479. He had to call Infiniti Canada to complain that they weren't making any money on it but loosing it and was told they had to honour it. My fear is that they told me they may not be able to get it because Infiniti is not making them anymore and they may have to go aftermarket of which I have a bloody huge issue with it and fitment . I did post the dealer invoice pricing on another thread here.

https://www.myg37.com/forums/canada/...e-price-3.html

BTW... Infiniti Canada's website has removed all of the accessories for the G37 cars at this time.

I am hoping I will get full disclosure of all of the things that I am paying for itemized so I know the true cost of things, but the number mentioned was what the price was and no breakdown. I have decided not to bother with the front lip spoiler for the car. I the car is already low enough and don't need a snowplow in front only to be sheared of in heavy snow.

Uh, no! When I made that post, I used a currency convertor and it said $43K canadian is equal to $38 US (not $38K, but $38). So I now see that conversion was incorrect. So no, it wouldn't have made sense!

But I found another convertor and it puts you at $40K US and some change. So it is a good deal.

Obviously I noticed it, which is why I asked about the currency since he did not specify. Are you just trying to prove how smart you are or something with these unnecessary replies?

"$799 to put it on" probably includes installation. Each dealer set's their own installation cost. The installation isn't reflected on the website. For example, in the US, the spoiler is $550. My local dealer charges $150 labor to install it bringing the total up to $700. So $799 seems close if that is the price installed.

Or you could have assumed it was in CAD and checked with a converter since his location is in Toronto and saved me all the unnecessary replies.

I originally did use a converter, if you would have read my post! "I used a currency convertor and it said $43K canadian is equal to $38 US (not $38K, but $38). So I now see that conversion was incorrect."

I used that converter before I made the original post. With the converter saying $43K CAD is equal to $38 USD, I assumed he was referring to $43K USD. But I asked to make sure!

This is the useless converter I am talking about: http://www.worldexecutive.com/locati.../currency.html I realized that since I copied his dollar amount of $43,979 and pasted into the converter, the converter gave an incorrect amount due to the common. I guess it's seeing the comma as a decimal point! The other converter I used after your post didn't do this!
