The 2010 Infiniti Lineup – Charting the Changes!!!!!!!!!!
ehhh you can do better.
I am looking at a 2009 G37xS with the following options:
Premium
Nav
Sport
Aero Dynamic
Midnight black grille
and got a quote for $37,602
So you can prob get at least another grand off the vehicle. Lots of dealers are doing invoice minus the 2500 incentive

I am getting quotes at 38 but havent pressed yet to go lower...i wonder now even at 37 if i will do it.....i want graphite interior white exterior....and the 2010 nav system....sigh....maybe i should just wait
when they say the sport model will have "integrated fog lights", they mean they will look more integrated into the bumper. the fogs will still be separate from the headlamp.
I think Infiniti was reading these forums for the past few years, and just wrote down everyone's mods
everyone's been painting their headlamps. now nissan offers it standard on the sport.
I bet the revised rear bumper will now have a black diffuser/valence integrated.
they want to put Batmobile out of business
don't you all agree the usb was a nice add? now you don't have to carry those clunky ipods. tiny flashdrive will suffice.

Does anyone think the DVD playback means you can actually play a DVD while the car is moving? If so, I'll be very interested how Infiniti got around the legal issues with allowing the driver to watch a DVD while driving.
It sounds like these enhancements really make a difference on the Journey model. If they keep the Journey pricing the same as 2009, that's one heck of a bargin.

I don't believe that you would be able to watch a DVD while driving but more so just being able to insert a DVD into the current CD slot and watch it while parked. It beats having to rip the DVD to ipod then watch it from there.
Kenny i hope that some of the parts can be taken from the 2010 and put on to the 09. If it can then i'll be working with you to make that happen.

I recently chose the G over the TL SH-AWD. The dilemna I was having is that I felt the TL has a superior tech package, while the G naturally is much more of a road performer. These improvements to the 2010 G, however, seem to erase any of the G's technology shortcomings.
I wish I could have waited. This will make an already great car a true standout.

i'm afraid infiniti will force consumers to buy the premium package just to get the usb port.
i prefer the usb port over an ipod-only port.
as it stands, the 2010 journey is well appointed. I can do without the moonroof. and as far as stereo is concerned, I'd rather make my own aftermarket system.
I'm hoping all the 2010's are prewired for the usb port so that you can add it later.
Journey =
backup cam
heated seats. more ways
bluetooth.
that's all i need.

Rear view camera is not that expensive considering with the Bose, its like a $2k option. Strip that from that package, discount for economies of scale (you are now selling more units with rear view camera) you are most certainly looking at a neglible price increase. Bluetooth technology is no longer hi-tech these days, everyone has it so it wont cost much either. Besides, they have made their money from these technologies from the 07-09 models. I wouldn't worry about the pricing at all, maybe at the top end, when you get the Nav package, thats when it may go up a tad, but I wont be complaining.
They hit a home run with this one, rear view camera is not even an option on some of the overrated vehicles out there, and it comes stnd on some G models. Very impressive
Is there anyone out there willing to make a bet the price is not going to go up more than $500 with all these enhancements?

I will probably trade up to the 2010 next year. Everything they have done as a 2010 improvement is where the car lacked in comparison with the TL. I think that with these changes BMW will struggle to stay in the top spot of premium sport sedans.
I'm sorry but A2DP streaming Bluetooth audio without an adapter on a car is new technology. Few have it.

we're talking about regular bluetooth for phones.
basic BT is finally standard. it used to be part of the premium package, which is ridiculous for even infiniti to strip it out of the base models.
it sounds like they're doing the same thing with the usb port as they've done with the bluetooth in the past i.e. making it optional. USB ports are standard on FORDs and mazdas!
but it's not standard on the infiniti. usb port is so cheap, they should throw it in every car standard.
