How often do you FLOOR it?
For some reason even though this car is a beast, I've been driving it like a bi***. I'm worried for some reason that flooring it will hurt the car/transmission in the long run. I guess maybe because my old CL had bad tranny issues, and I learned to drive it like an old lady...to reduce any potential problems. Are the trannys/engines in these cars durable to alot of hard acceleration?
Also kinda weird...but whats the best way to get on it? Just floor it right from a light? or floor it from a rolling start?
For example lets say I want to open her roast beef curtains up tomorrow while merging on the high way...should I just put the peddle all the way down to the floor, and just get off the gas when i hit 70-80? Or semi hold it down etc?

Grow some peaches and floor the sumbitch. VQ's love to be revved
No right or wrong way to go fast, just know what you're doing and don't go beyond your limits.
Oh yeah, and I floor it about 6 or 9 times a day

So there really isn't much ill-effects on the car to floor it from a light, as long as its properly warmed up right? What does a proper warm up consist of...? Just operating temperature? I'm going to start flooring it alot more! I need to grow some *****. It's funny if I drive a friends car I always floor it, but with mine I get sort of cautious for some reason.
