Here when it's 100 degrees i have to have it set at 60 degrees with 2 or 3 bars for it to negate the hot feeling of weather.
My 2010 AC is very cold.
I live in hot and humid SW Florida. The only minor complaint I have is that I need to occasionally adjust the auto setting, where in all my previous cars with auto AC, I would more or less set and forget them.

So true! I'm coming from 335i and my new G is definitely colder in lowest fan speed.

Amen to the vent thing. I LIKE my car cold, so I set the auto at 71-72 and when the sun sensor is activated it really blows. The car is COLD...love it...again..except if I point it at my head. LOL.

But yea, people get in my car and start messing with the vents so they don't get iced out...hehehe.

I also like the AC very much.

This is probably a side question: Do you guys hear a turbin-like when you stop at a light with AC on?

same here. when shutting down the A/C it sounds like a jet engine shutting down lol. But when it's switched on it's a bit loud sometimes.

Yup...not all the time. I think it might be if the radiator fan is spinning on low. It sounds kind of cool...its a light/quiet hummmm with a bit of jet engine in it.

The difference between the super cold AC and so-so AC could be the traffic condition. In free flowing traffic, AC will work better because the condenser can exchange heat more efficiently and, thus, cooler.

My complaint with the AC is that the default air circulation mode is set for non-circulation (I don't know what to call the other mode). I live in a crowded area with lots of traffic and I hate smelling exhaust of the other cars (until I change the mode). Anyone has a tip on how to change the default circulation mode?

I think the A/C works pretty well as in blowing cold air, but the auto temp control is terrible as mentioned before. It bases it off of the outside temperature and then adjusts the interior temperature....that doesn't make sense to me. 70* should be 70* regardless of the temperature outside. In my old 2003 G35C I had the temperature set to 69 all the time unless I was looking to get a little colder or warmer, and it kept it at 69 pretty perfectly. I wish the G37 would do the same!! It is just a programming issue and I hope that Infiniti comes up with a new flash for the temperature control to fix it!

I'd have to agree with most of the other posters that the AC is very good IF you're sitting in the front seat. I have a 2009 Sedan and the fan that blows into the back seats sucks. It's way under powered. If you have a family get into the car on a hot day, it takes quite a while for the back seats to get comfortable.
