Just an update.

After a third time to the dealer, my AC is now fixed. I was asking for a side by side performance test with another G37x. My car is about 57° at the vent while the other is 38°. They keep my car for two days and replace the Compressor - Cooler. Now my car is around 38.8°. Do you think I should go back again for the .8° difference?

The G has to have the coldest blowing A/C on any car that I have owned, very impressive in 100 deg temps. My wife's Civic pales in comparison, you can actually tell when the compressor cycles on the Honda - warm/cold air fluctuations.

This is the best A/C I've ever had in any car. The BMW 530i that I traded to acquire the G also had a strong A/C, but not as strong as the G. It's 95 degrees today and the A/C will cool a hot car to very comfortable levels in about 5 minutes. The A/C in my wife's 08 Highlander pales in comparison...and it has auxilary rear A/C.

Best AC of all the car I have owned, and no AC cycling on or off.

I experienced the same thing when I switched from a TL to the G.

I love the AC on my G. It does a great job with the Texas summer. Sometimes it feels too cold when using auto and about a 70-75 temp setting.

My AC is ice cold. It hurts my ears if I have it pointed up.

Yeah same here. My AC is ice cold and the heater can make the car uncomfortably hot.

Wow all these extremely good marks on the G's AC system from everyone. Idk how u guys get so lucky but my 2010 AC is above average but not as cold as some of u guys are describing it. I usually go up to 3 bars at 69 degrees for a few mins and then back to one bar. But some of u guys are saying even at 75 degree in 100 degree outisde is freezing? that's insane. Here when it's 100 degrees i have to have it set at 60 degrees with 2 or 3 bars for it to negate the hot feeling of weather.

I thought my A/C had a problem cause it was too cold! I guess it's normal, G's just have a really cold/strong A/C system. I keep mine at 75 and it's pretty chilly.

Yeah last week we had a heat wave here and it got up to about 105. I had the AC set to 68 and it kept the car cold inside the whole time I was driving. The fan was at full speed for about 5 minutes but once the car cooled down it was and the lowest or second lowest fan setting.

I am so disappointed with the AC on my 09 G37x (850 miles). I try manual and auto mode and it doesn't seem to blow air as cold as my other cars (04 4 Runner and 05 Legacy GT). Today outside t° is about 88° to 91°F. I put a temperature probe in the vent outlet and it shows the t° drop around 60° after about 1/2 hours driving (~10 miles highway, stopped at the dealer to check the AC, 10 miles local road to go back home). I already bring to the dealer this past Monday, they didn't find anything. The work order stated "AC went to 48 F on performance test". I drop by again today and the service manager took my car to the shop perform all the quick test and still could find anything. He schedules another appointment on this coming Monday. I've a G35x loaner while my car was in service and I feel the air is much colder than mine.
I rarely set the t° below 70 in the summer time for my other two cars (minimum t° setting is 65).
I bought this car thinking it is a quiet car until I experience the AC. If auto mode is used the fan maximum speed noise is intolerable. In manual mode, the air is not cold enough. Additionally, the shifting is jerky not as smooth as my Legacy GT and there is an intermittent cracking noise on the driver side (happen mostly in the morning when the car was in the garage overnight). I don't think I set my standard to high since I compare it to my previous 05 LGT. I start to think that I am making a mistake here.
On my 2010 G37s it doesn't blow as good as on FX35 2010. it is the way it is on G37. Nothing can be done. It was designed that way. On my FX35 2010 it cools down car way faster than G37 even on super hot days.

Also transmission must be reprogrammed as there was TSB to get no jerks and etc. Also the noise you have in the morning it has TSB as well,it needs lubrication of the drive axels.

Time to make dealer do the work !!!!!

I Ditto the A/C functioning - coldest I've had in any Car. Works too good, I often set it at 76 -78 on the hotest days after it cools down. Particularly while driving on the highway for any distance.

Sobi61111: There's a TSB for the 7AT Tranny !!! I haven't seen it?? Can you tell us where. That's the Main and Only problem with my 2010 G37X. It's much better now with over 2k miles on the Clock, but still quirky - jerky - too much hesitation on downshifts...It was much worse first new. I wanted to return the Car. I had a 2007 G35X with a 5AT, none of that in that car. Please show me the way to the TSB >....THX
