09 g37x break in period?

Yes, your car will self-destruct at the end of the week.
Seriously don't worry about it. The other theory on how to properly break-in a car says to drive it like you stole it. I don't followed this theory but I don't baby the hell out of the car.

I know plenty of members on the board that have driven their car HARD from day one, and no problems

Modern technology is great; tolerances are tight and break-in takes a LONG time.

Mike, you are very correct that break-in takes a long time. I could tell my G was breaking in finally after 1k miles and just recently began feeling "broken in". I'm at 2.4k miles now.

While I broke her in I didn't baby it but I didn't disrespect her. IOW I didn't ever accelarate full throttle until after 1k and I always tried to keep breaking, and etc down to reasonable standards.
