Sedan performance vs coupe

Hi, gonna get a G, sport pkg premium.
deciding coupe vs sedan.
Wondering performance/handling differences between them. your views?
Like the bigger trunk/rear seat for safety reasons and size. But do not want to sacrifice performance.
What and how much are the differences? I cannot find this info. Sedan slightly lighter and slightly faster but handling?
Thanks for your input.

Sedan has better power to weight. Coupe has a lower center of gravity.

Hi, looking to get Sedan, journey Sport premium.
Wondering differences in performance? Handling? Accel? etc.
Your comparisons and knowledge appreciated.
I know the sedan is a little faster and a little lighter.
Thanks,

I had a chance to drive a G35x (2007, all wheel drive without sport) loaner while my 2008 G37S coupe was in service, I felt that the sedan had more body roll and also the seats were higher than the coupe. Remember, that sedan had all season tires, thicker side wall, and non sport front seats (so it is wider).

In term of the power, I can not really compare, since the loaner was a 5sp auto and mine is a 6sp, but I felt that the throttle was tighter/harder to press down on the sedan.

The coupe is also probably more of a cop-magnet. I do more speeding now than when I had my WRX and draw almost no attention in my sedan.

^^^Cool! I also had a WRX back in '03. Great car to drive. Nothing beats that turbo rush once it spools up! But it is also a cop magnet. Got busted twice for speeding as well in the 'rex. The G sedan is definately under the radar.

I love that car. It was a blue 02 WRX Wagon. If my wife could drive stick I would of kept it as our back-up car. Instead our back-up is a 94 Honda Accord. It's a good car but not as much fun to drive and the WRX.

The Coupe handles better and has a better handling feel. The G37 Sedan has quicker acceleration in a straight line.

The G35 Sedan vs G37 Coupe is a "drivers" race- both are pretty much equal when driven equally. The G37 coupe pulls harder than the G35 Sedan in the upper gears though.

I haven't personally driven the sedan, however since i have the non sport g37 i did feel some excessive body roll. This was quickly remedied after installing hotchkis sways, I'm sure the sedan's body roll would be greatly improved as well with aftermarket sways...

Best time I've seen for the G37 RWD 7AT is 13.5 in M/T -- i know results will always vary -- but wow.. that's pretty damn quick out of the box -- imagine what it'll be in the 40,000 miles...

Why do you have this posted in two different sections?

If you have a 7AT sedan racing a 7AT coupe or a 5AT sedan vs 5AT coupe, the sedan always wins.

Handling wise, here is my take.

The coupe's limits are higher. Period. That being said, the coupe has slightly better turn-in response, and FEELS like it has more lateral grip. However, the sedan has a much more progressive breakaway. It is a lot easier to tell when you are approaching the limits of grip while cornering. Also, I feel the sedan is better around consecutive turns; it just feels more tossable.

I have a difficult time articulating what exactly the differences are, but if I were pushing a stock G, I'd prefer to be in the sedan on a road I am unfamiliar with, because it is more forgiving.
