whistle sound at idle

when you start your car, when the engine is cold, do you hear a irregular whistle sound. it last a bit untill i run 100 yards, i stop the car, and no more noise. It sounds like a pulley that needs lubrification.

Another whistle i hear, may be it's a particularity of the VQ engine ? around 3000 rpm when i accelerate, decelerate around 3000 rpm, there is like almost a turbo sound, a whistle sound, like if the motor suck air

I get a little bit of a whistle with the air conditioning on. I can hear it when the rpms are low, as well as when the fan speed is low.

even with AC off i hear it

Could you guys try when youi have time to choose a gear in manual on the automatic transmission, and maintain 3000 rpm, and play around this. Does the engine sound change compare to other revs ?

I also have the same noise like a "weak turbo" at 3k rpm, I thought it was the intake sound at first but when I listened more it definetly seems like it is coming from some rotating part in the engine. I'm going to try turning off the ac and then taking it to dealer.

Heh I hope it's normal but I noticed that it went away after I tried to reproduce it again after I got home from work.. Lets see if somebody else posts the same thing, don't wanna waste my time taking it to dealer if nothing's wrong and probably it wont make the sound when I get there.
