ResistAll?

Hi,

I placed an order a G37S 7AT + Premium + Nav on Saturday (congratz to me ). I have to wait a few days since the car is from another dealership. As usual, the dealer offered me several add-ons in the closing process. I refused all of them. However, one thing that caught my attention was ResistAll for $850. It is basically a package to apply paint seal & leather sealant and 7 year warranty against damages to the paint or the interior. More specifically, ResistAll offers warranty against cracks in the leather seats for seven years. From my experience, all leather seats crack sooner or later. The dealer claims that ResistAll will replace the seats should the leather crack within the warranty period. It sounds too good to be true. What do you guys think?

hm never heard of it... so if your paint has rock chips in it from daily driving they will replace it for free within 7 years? that sounds way too good to be true. many people have had leather seat issues...bubbling, cracking, etc... so it might be worth it...

oh, and congrats! any mod plans? what color did you get?

Unless your whole leather interior needs replacing, it's not worth it; I don't believe they replace the seats but fix the tears in leather.

As far as the exterior I think it only covers faded paint (damage to the clear coat), but it does not cover dings and paint chips.

Spend your money on an prepaid maintenance program since it saves you money in the long run.

Just say no and save your money. How are they going to apply the ResistAll on your paint? You're not supposed to use a buffer on your car since it has the Scratch Shield paint.
