I've seen a few G35xS on the road, and quite a few posts here about people buying the G37xS. However, I can't find anything about it on Infiniti's website, nor much by searching google & here.

My initial guesses are:

• You have to know someone to buy it new, or you can get a used one from wherever.
• It's the AWD model with the 'RWD' option. It makes no sense why RWD is an option on Infiniti's website for the AWD model, but it's a thought.
• It's just the G37x with after market upgrades installed by a local shop, and the "S" is just an addon emblem.

Can someone clarify this?

i don't think there is a g37xS yet...

the AWD g37x does not have the sport package option... or so that's how i understand it from reading the forums

I see what you're saying, so it would be the G37x with a Sports Package? This would be different than the RWD Sports one, right?

the sport pkg for awd is different from the rwd sport pkg. its just adding some 'sporty' appearance on the awd model, doesn't come with the sport suspension or sport brakes.
Sport Package (AWD)
* Split 5-spoke 18 x 7.5-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/50R18 all-season performance tires (front/rear)
* Unique front fascia and side sills
* Solid-magnesium paddle shifters
* Front sport seats with manual thigh extension and driver's power torso and thigh support adjustment
* Unique sport stitching on steering wheel and front seats
* Aluminum pedals and footrest
Sport Package (RWD)
* Split 5-spoke 18 x 7.5-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/50R18 (front) and 18 x 8.5-inch 245/45R18 (rear) summer performance tires
* Sport brakes with 4-piston opposed front calipers with 14-inch rotors and 2-piston opposed rear calipers with 13.8-inch rotors
* Unique front fascia and side sills
* Solid-magnesium paddle shifters (not available with 6-speed manual transmission)
* Front sport seats with manual thigh extension and driver's power torso and thigh support adjustment
* Unique sport stitching on steering wheel and front seats
* Aluminum pedals and footrest
* Sport-tuned suspension
* Viscous Limited-Slip Differential

Thanks for the clarification. Could you also explain why the RWD Sports Package is available for AWD? (Perhaps it's just a typo on Infinti's site):
