2009 G37xS what to mod? Help!!!

New guy on the block here.

I just purchased my new ride, and am looking to do a few things to the car. I am not wanting to display to the world that "stuff" has been done to the car. The Sleeper is my style. Here is what I am considering so far:
  • Stillen sways front/rear
  • Stillen Gen 3 Intake
  • Unorthodox pulley
  • GTSPEC tower brace
  • tire upgrade to 245/45/18 front and 275/40/18 rear Goodyear Eagle F1AS tires
Also, although an aftermarket exhaust would be nice, I do NOT want increased db volume. Increased air flow yes, sound no. Any thoughts on what I have noted thus far, or any ideas on the whole exhaust question? I greatly appreciate your feedback.

Yes I am an old guy.......

Nice list... You may consider holding out for some other sways though. Some people haven't been quite happy with their Stillen Sways.

Thanks for the reply. What have others complained about? What should I look for in another product?

Hotchkis just released a set of sways that i think have been getting good reviews, or atleast a lot of praise from previous owners.

Stillen gen 3 is also on my list of things to do! Congrats on your car, and welcome to the boards.

i just ran out to a quick run with the GTech Pro SS and came back with the following results:

0-60 5.32
1/4 13.56 @ 103.52

Is that average for the car? Yes the engine is green, but.......

All I did was stomp on the gas and stayed with it.

Unfortunately, the Stillen sways will not fit the X. Currently, there are no sway bars on the market that will fit the X...although if you are in the SoCal area, Hotchkiss wants to find a car to test fit some sways for the X.
So to answer your initial question, I'd go for the Stillen 3rd Gen Intakes.

Is it wise to go staggered size wheels/tires with an X?

I've read no, unless you run the same size tires, no idea where the actual proof is, manual also says to not do it.

well,if you run staggered you run the risk that your all wheel drive system might not function correctly.
