I can give this a try. We have both a M and G. Although the G is at the dealer right now, so I'll try next week when I get it back.

Sniper27, I really appreciate you trying the m headrest in the g. If it does fit, can you see how it feels? Thanks again.

The non tilting G headrest never bothered me. But I'll give it try and see if the M's work.

Ya for my situation, when I try to sit up straight the headrest pushes my head forward and develops an awkard strain after a while. I actually tried driving around without the headrest one time and it felt a whole lot better. My upper back was able to fully rest on the seat in a more natural position. Just FYI I'm around 5'6, probably figure height and torso length will effect ones comfort.

careful driving around like that without the headrest, much more likely to have serious neck injury or whiplash if you get in an accident.

The headrests don't bother me, but I'm 5'11. My issues is I have a longer torso and my head tends to hit the ceiling unless I lower the seat as low as it goes or lean it back a bit.

I'm 5' 11" and when I first got my 2010, 3-1/2 years ago, it bothered me a bit that my head was always against the head rest.
I have been in other newer model cars where the head rests were a lot worse. They pushed my head forward.

I use to pull the head rest on my G37 and turn it around. That gave me a gap between it and the back of my head. I got use to it now and it no longer bothers me.

I have a 08 M35 Sport and a 13 G37S sedan. I just checked fitment and they do fit. However, M's leather is darker than the G. Plus, the M's head rest looks gigantic on the G. Way too big...

Thanks for trying it Mongolian. Appreciate it. I'm now used to the g's headrest anyways. I did miss the m's headrest right after I sold it.

sorry it took so long. i did try and it does fit. like mongolian said, the M's is bigger. it's more of a big square shape compared to the G's more curved shape on the back.

Most new cars have headrests that tilt forward as it improves crash safety. I can't remember the last car I had that had tilting headrests.
