Sports Package or Not?
You wont regret getting the sport. It also adds a nice sporty look. The steering driving feel is better in the sport as well. Ride quality is still very good- especially in the Sedan Sport.
I have not driven 2009 G 37 , about 39 K
Is there a big
difference in the 2009 ?Drove 2009 Genesis V8 yesterday too soft, drives like a Buick.
Any advice ?
Well the '09 will have the 3.7 of course. That engine is a bit smoother than the 3.5 and has a bit more punch in the higher RPMs.
The 7AT is also going to be in the '09. So far it looks like the 37 improved acceleration a bit as well.

This is my first ever post here. After months of researching (and some test driving), I have decided to reward myself and buy a 2009 G37 sedan. I will probably get a 7AT journey with premium package. The sticking question is whether the sports package worth it? I assume that the sports package add
1. Bigger brakes
2. Sports-tuned suspension
3. Bigger wheels
4. Summer tires
5. Paddle shifters (for 7AT)
6. Different seats with thigh extension
This is going to be my daily driver and replace my 2001 Civic. I don't drive my car "hard" and never have been to the track. This is also going to be my first ever V6. The only two things I want in the sports pacakge are the paddle shifters and the thigh extension thingy. Any advice is appreciated.
Regards,
Charlie
