Sports Package or Not?

This is my first ever post here. After months of researching (and some test driving), I have decided to reward myself and buy a 2009 G37 sedan. I will probably get a 7AT journey with premium package. The sticking question is whether the sports package worth it? I assume that the sports package add

1. Bigger brakes
2. Sports-tuned suspension
3. Bigger wheels
4. Summer tires
5. Paddle shifters (for 7AT)
6. Different seats with thigh extension

This is going to be my daily driver and replace my 2001 Civic. I don't drive my car "hard" and never have been to the track. This is also going to be my first ever V6. The only two things I want in the sports pacakge are the paddle shifters and the thigh extension thingy. Any advice is appreciated.

Regards,

Charlie

First off, Welcome!

That sounds about right. There could be more things, just check the Infiniti site for a list.

I have had sports package on both of my Infiniti's and swear that I'll always get it. For the extra money they wheels, suspension, and brakes are a big plus.

I say go for it.

Get the sports package. I can assure you that you won't regret it, and I can almost assure you that you will regret not getting it or at least always have doubt that maybe you should have. Do it.

My previous G didn't have the sport package, but I know I'll be getting it on my next car.

The BBK and faster steering ratio close the deal for me. I'd pay 1650 just for the BBK.

sports package is awesome... personally the BBK is awesome... looks clean and the non-sports rims just don't cut it for me... the sports rims are very nice imo... but i don't really use that thigh extension... so yeah

^^where does it say that the sport package doesn't come with bigger brakes?

Seems to say that it does come with sport brakes on the infiniti site if you go for the S
