So what happened to 09 pricing/etc Sept 1st annoucement?
Why not an 08? Is it really that imperative you get an 09? I guess it's more understandable if you're going for a sedan, but for the coupe, I think the price savings would definitely justify purchasing the current model.
Short-time lurker, first-time poster. So, I just got off the phone with the dealership where I pre-ordered my G37xS with Prem, Nav, and they say wood trim?? Anyway, they gave me an arrival date of 10/15, but said it could be 3 days before or after that. Also, no final word on pricing yet. Just thought someone might like to know. Oh, I'm in Kansas City, by the way.
They aren't releasing pricing/info because they don't want to bring any attention to the '09 G37 while they still try to get '08 G35s off the lot.
Usually, Infiniti would release a few vehicles for press events and such, stir up some preview excitement for the launch. But car sales are slow, and they want to help dealers get rid of the '08s first.
It is eerily quiet, considering it is a somewhat new model...

Just called the largest dealership in SoCal and spoke with a manager. What he was told last was that they will be getting them at the end of October. I'm still trying to decide between an IS350 and GXX though. G37 might just persuade me.
I'm in Toronto, Canada and my dealer said the car (G37xS) should arrive in the "first or second week of October". I ordered back in late June / early July.

The sales in NorCal said the same
They pretty much guaranteed there would be no increases over 08 cost (finally some adjustment for our CDN $) and that the AWD feature would add about $2500-$3000 to the invoice of a base model.
My dealer said the same thing and sold it to me for the same price as the 2008 G35xS.
