So what happened to 09 pricing/etc Sept 1st announcement?

Thought that was supposed to be the day (or day after with the holiday)
that Infiniti would officially release specs, showroom delivery dates, etc?

Good question,

I am on the edge of going to purchase one and would like to know if 09 will be the way to go depending on price issue and when they start to show up on the dealer's lots.

Anyone know if they will still make an ok deal on the new 09's? I know that the 08's can be had for a pretty good deal right now.

I just called a local dealer and they told me that the new lineup won't roll out before the LA auto show. That's end of november. I really hope this isn't true.

Naa, even the Infiniti site says September. I thought it was going to be the 18th, but haven't been able to get it confirmed.

You're right. Just read the press release. I find it strange that some dealerships have no clue about it.

I called another dealership in the area and the guy told me they are taking pre-orders and cars will arrive sometime end of this month/early next month. That sounds a little better.

I called 5 dealerships and all of them had a different answer. One said late septemeber, one said 1st of october, another said October 27th. The other two just said some time in October. They also said it really depends on how fast they can move the 08s.

Good to hear. I suspect pricing will have to be pretty aggressive the way the economy is right now. Where are you located?

I'm actually 0.8% better than last year for year to date new Infinitis sold as a dealership, just under 1000 cars sold so far

I'm over in New York but has shipped cars cross country....ask the CrazyRuskie I took care of him.

Called several dealerships in the tri state area and all said that the drop date has now moved to mid-late november. I went from thinking I was getting a car in the beginning of september to now possibly looking for a different vehicle.
