So far mostly fast break-in stuff and I'm around 20mpg(19.9 average). It's damn good for such a young motor. This car will probably see more highway miles than city as I have a city car along with a train....

I drive about 90% city, 10% highway. My G37 has about 800 miles on it and I'm getting about 17.2 miles per gallon. I'm sure it'll get a little better as I put more miles on it.

13-15mpg, A couple less than the SUV I have. I have to admit that I am using the car. I commute about 10 miles a day, from 1000ft - 135ft elevation through twisty windy mountain roads. Not shocking. The whole point of a high performance engine is to shove as much fuel as possible through it. I have to admit that the FUN/Gallon is WAY WAY up.

400+ miles R/T from North side of Chicago to Indy and back last Friday and computer says 23.6 mpg. I never went below 80 mph unless I had to. The speed limit is 70. I don't think that's too bad considering it's still a young motor.

About 15-17 mpg average here, but I work in Los Angeles where traffic is BAD. BTW, my G37 has about 2000 miles on it already. I just switched her over to Synthetic Oil this weekend, lets see if this helps a bit, but if not, I really don't care, I'm extremely happy

So according to mymilemarker.com, after my first fill-up (half tank of traffic, hard break-in driving and taking people for rides), this is what I've got:

It's not bad at all down here right now. Although its still kind of sad to call near $3 / gal gas prices 'not bad'.

it's nice to be down south close to the refineries.. lot less distance for the gas to travel.

i filled up for 3.08/gal in Roseville today, not that bad. i'm a Chevron kinda guy. speaking in a completely superficial sense, Chevron seems a bit higher end than Exxon/Mobil, and about even with Shell, but less than 76. i equate Exxon/Mobile with Domestics, Shell is BMW, 76 is Benz (gas is more $ but not necessarily better), leaving Chevron as... you can guess from here.

Hate to bump an old thread but what kind of mileage you guys getting per tank? or km's for Canadian's?

I remember in my G35C I would get about 400-450km a tank. I'm already at 425km on my first tank and my G37 is projecting another 115km to go so that's 540km or so on one tank which is pretty good to me (340miles). Now I don't know if they increased the size of the tank in this car over the G35, but what numbers are other owners seeing?
