Hi, Im hoping someone can help me out here, I have 08 coupe with bose and nav, i realized that the rear deck speakers dont make any sound, ive try to touch them to see if i can feel any vibration, looking around around here and internet, seem like they are supposed to be "fillers" and barely make any sound, but mines are not making any sound at all..
Ive tried 2 amps and 2 speakers and theres no sound at all coming from them, even with the build in speakers test and everything set to the rear, is this normal??
Also, theres one plug with no cable red circle, and the cable has some like additions to it green circle... I searched the FSM but couldnt figure it out..
The empty white connector/ slot on the Bose amp is not used on the G37 EXCEPT for the 'Vert. The third connection is used on the 'Vert and, more commonly on the M35/37 to provide additional features such as Bose "AudioPilot" ('Vert) and the Bose "Surround Sound/ Studio on Wheels (M's). Even if that taped up white connector would fit into the amp slot (doubtful) it would likely do more harm than good. NO 2008, to my knowledge, has any of the wiring for AudioPilot/ Studio on Wheels add-ons.
That said, if you are not getting ANY sound from the rear parcel shelf speakers, then you have to look at the "Woofer Amp," not just the main Bose amp. Is the woofer amp getting:
the "ON" signal (10V) from the main Bose amp?
power (12V) from the mains? Good ground?
As for the other item circled in green, that is some sort of "junction" that Nissan uses. I forget the proper term but it has nothing to do with your audio issue.

Nice to see different options for improving rear fill and clarity. I was also looking at https://casinosanalyzer.com/free-slo...ine/Crazy-Time , and it reminded me that small tweaks, whether in audio setups or gameplay choices, can make a big difference in the overall experience.
Edit: Thanks for the update.

Thanks ILM, I did try changing the woofer, i have a spare both the amp and woofer and speaker, tried mixing both amps and speaker and still nothing came out of the back speakers...

Im not that savy with electrical parts, but if i understand you mean using a tester to measure the voltages? 10V from woofer and 12V from amp? But I can probably take it to some to check the voltages that you suggested. but it feels unlucky that both woofer amps and or speakers are bad... the max volume is just too low
I figured the ones in green are just connections, I found a hammer next to the amp.. somebody did something there so I wasnt sure what could it be, a few nuts missing and clips too..
I agree that 2 separate amps and any combination thereunto shouldn't exhibit the same symptoms. This leads me to suspect a power issue.
The woofer amp gets a 10V signal FROM the Bose Amp. This tells the woofer amp to turn "ON." However, the woofer amp still needs 12V from the car. This powers the amp and drives the rear speakers. I would, at a minimum, verify power and ground.
If the above check out then the next step is to trace the wiring from the woofer amp to the speakers.
However, if the previous owner monkeyed with the electrics then you'll likely be chasing a unknown gremlin.

I see, I was thinking there must be an electrical problem, i remember it used to sound way louder, ill have to check the cable to see if its powering the woofer or the amp..
Whatever the person was doing back there, I dont think it was related to the audio, but who know, thanks, this will give me an idea of what to check to see if it actually getting the power needed.
