Not starting, turns ON but won’t turn OFF
Hey guys need help.
I bought a 09 g37x coupe 7 months ago. Was running fine. All the sudden yesterday car not starting. I used the car yesterday morning and noon. But when i tried starting the car in the evening, the brake were stiff. Car goes to ON position blower fan works lights turned on all the accessories works. And it won’t turn off, stuck in ON position. Car is not cranking no ticking noise from starter. No idea what happened.
Anyone experienced anything like this?

You could have been a little more specific, no?
He meant did the interior get wet? Specifically, the passenger-side floor board/ area under the dashboard. The BCM (which is mounted on the passenger sideboard area under the dash) is known to get wet as a result of water leaks from the sunroof drain. Many of your symptoms point to a BCM issue. Not 100% certain but a strong possibility.
Pull up the passenger-side side carpet and look for signs of dampness / puddles of water, etc.
You may also want to check your cabin air filter for signs of water ingress. The windshield cowl seals are known to deteriorate and allow water to seep into the cabin via the fresh air duct.
There are plenty of threads here on the forum detailing these leaks and potential repairs/ remedies.

100% dry? Lucky, indeed.
Unfortunately, you will probably need to get a scanner of some type and see if any codes are displaying. At this stage there is no way of knowing what the issue might be. It could be the BCM, being a 2009 the ESCL (steering lock) could be starting to go out, or any number of things. A good scanner, one that can read all modules, might help to narrow down the culprit.
I assume you mean the brake pedal was harder to push down than normal? Might I suggest, with all your might, press the pedal down (especially until the brake lights turn ON) then try starting the car (this will determine if the brake pedal switch might be bad).

1. I changed the key remote battery
2. escl. My steering is not locked right now. Tried pulling the steering lock fuse. Nothing changed.
3. Checked the batter fuse. All good.
i will try scanning it today.

What was the fix for this problem? I have similar issues, can will go into "On" position from the start button and not into accessory. I have to pull the battery connection under the hood to shut it off. No power to windows, radio, nothing..
It's still dead, put the key in the slot push the button the door chime beep sound is all I get. Tried 3 different scan tools they get power but all of them fail to connect. I replaced the IPDM and nothing changes, it will not go into accessory mode when I push the button it hangs I cannot shut it off no power to windows, seats, door locks, key fobs do not work at all I have to disconnect the battery to shut it off. I'm trying to avoid a $1,000+ bill from the dealership, if no scan tool will connect I'm wondering if the ECU is bad because no scanner can connect to it. Would bad BCM prevent a scan tool from connecting? Anyone? 2012 G37 sedan.
