Help - P0463 and P0462
Hey all, new to this nissan-nonsense, and i bought an as is condition 170k mile 2013 g37 IPL in absolutely mint condition. even the bushings look fresh.
But thats not the important part, im having the mythical and expected fuel gauge problem, and after cleaning and metering the POT contacts I am getting almost no volts at any probed position. Since im reading no volts, i can assume the circuit is broken up-stream, and this is the point where i get lost. I cant find a part number for the ECM; and im not too sure how to get it out.
Also, unrelated but i am doing a full N/A build. are gallery gaskets that important? everyone who says to do ‘em is boosted but also at high miles the same as i am.
any advice (or part #s) whatsoever is highly appreciated.

Verify the amplifier itself is getting power and has a good ground. If it does just replace the amp. These units have a history of failing. The odds that it is anything "upstream" are almost nil. The UMAC amp is p/n:27760-xxxxx.
As for the gallery gaskets, your 2013 should have the revised gaskets, however, if you are going to be in there anyway (ie. replacing the timing chains, tensioners, guides, etc.) then you may as well replace the gaskets and water pump. Again, while you are in there...
