Brake getting stuck

Hello, currently I’m working on my Infiniti and the brakes keep getting stuck, I’ve changed the pump for the brake fluid and the ABS. The brakes work fine for a bit after driving but after 10-15 minutes they get stuck again and it smells burnt. I have no idea and help would be appreciated.

Is the issue at one (1) specific wheel or the whole system? Also, are you BBK or standard calipers?

The issue is with both front tires only, it’s a 2008 Infiniti. I’m going to check out the brakes and the pedal today because google said that could be another reason but if not what else could it be?

There were several reports, and a recall, for Altima and Maxima brake boosters failing which caused "hyper braking" and also would not release the brakes. This issue did not affect the G37, per se, but that is something to look into.

Typically, when brakes do not release on multiple wheels the issue points to the brake master cylinder or proportioning valve failing. These cars do not use a proportioning valve as the ABS controller handles that function. The oddity here is that both front wheels are affected. The system is designed so that each circuit (there are 2) controls one front and one rear wheel to prevent this very issue from happening.

You can try fully pressing the front brake piston(s) back into the bore as this might free some things up (remove gunk). Are the pads/ rotors in good condition?

I’ve changed the master cylinder and I thought it was the issue and it helped a bit because before the brakes were completely stuck and it wouldn’t move even a little bit but after changing the master cylinder you could drive it for a little before getting stuck, I’m currently about to check the condition of the brakes. Thank you so much for your help.

Also one question, the rear passenger tire loses air and I have to refill it, could that be the reason it brakes?

Tire pressure would affect braking performance but have minimal affect on the brake components themselves. Surely not to the level you are experiencing.

As mentioned, the oddity is that both front wheels are presenting issues. I'd take each tire off and thoroughly inspect each component: caliper, lines, pads, and rotors for any abnormalities. It probably would not hurt to remove the caliper and rotor and check each wheel bearing while you are that deep into the inspection.

Are the wheels totally locking or are they binding?
When you replaced the brake master, did you notice any brake fluid at the brake BOOSTER flange?

I checked and everything looks good, I also changed the lines which was the first thing I changed. The wheels completely lock after a bit of driving and bleeding the brakes makes it work for a bit but you can tell it’s still braking. It can’t be the BCM or could it.

No to BCM. This is either a mechanical or hydraulic issue.

Hello yes i was able to find it, it didn’t make sense as to why but once i changed the light for when you brake my brakes started working just fine, it was just that simple brake light sensor under the pedal

You mean you changed the BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH? I changed it recently because car acted like I was stepping on the brakes and the gas, jerking, but now wheels are locking up after car is on for a while....
I changed the brake light stoppers and will double check the brake/cluch switches on the brake pedal, changed ABS, bypassed abs fuse, check brake calipers and pistons, ordered the rear speed sensors attached to the differential, and will connect my ODBII tester to check all wheel speed sensors...problem is the rear wheels lock after driving for 20 minutes or so or just leaving the car in park and running it over 30 minutes causes wheels to lock... didn't check if front wheels were also locked... did change one rear brake caliper because the piston was ok but the caliper had no movement.... guess I'll keep changing parts until I figure it out
