Has anyone bought a pair of OEM style catalytic converters from eBay? I need a new pair of OEM cats but they're ridiculously expensive. Also don't suggest aftermarket high flow cats as I have yet to find any that don't sound horrible and raspy with the stock exhaust and muffler.

 

Only my drivers side one a couple years ago. No lights were on but my drivers side had a piece break off inside and was making noise so i replaced it with one. I wanna say the check engine light for the cat didn't come on for a few months. It would randomly come on and off, but mostly on after that. Would just unplug the negative cable to reset the light to pass the state emissions test. Tried Motul 8100 X-CLEAN + 5w-30 late May and suprisingly the light has been off mostly since. I paid $140 for it. If you need something that's gonna last you maybe a year then I say go for it. One day I'll replace them with better quality aftermarket ones but I'm in no rush. If your car isn't too old federal law covers the cats for 8 years or 80,000 miles.
