Trunk lid gap help

Trunk lid gap help

I recently put this trunk lid on due to my other one being messed up but theres seems to be a gap how do i adjust this to close all the way it locks but the gap is there i sit on the trunk it closes the gap any ideas

Is it aligned properly with the edges closer to the rear window? If yes, when you push down on it against the rubber seal, does the gap begin to diminish? Odd that this would happen.

More than likely you have to adjust the striker to adjust that gap. Go here and download section DLK (Door & Lock) for your car. There is a detailed set of instructions that will tell you how to measure and adjust for any gaps between the decklid and the fender/ bumper areas.

if i push down it does close the gap but wont stay down
