I recently swapped out my stock 2008 G37s coupe (Automatic) driver seat with another 2008 G37s coupe (Manual) diriver seat. All seat functions work fine but the memory seat buttons on the driver side door are not working. They do not light up (when I press 'Set'). I've tried disconnecting the battery, performing a sync (turn car to ON position, open and close driver door 3-4 times), driving the vehicle for 3+ miles but nothing works. I still can't get the memory seat buttons to light up and work. They were working before I swapped the seat out. Does anyone know if there is a reset that I have to perform? Any help is appreciated.

 

you need to swap the white box under the driver seat. the boxes actually differ MT to AT (they are labeled)

 

Oh i didn’t know that, and that will make the memory buttons work and light up again? Also, my second issue is the ‘Intelligent Key’ warning light turns on now whenever I shift the car into park. It goes away when the car is in drive. Is this also, related to switching the box under the seat?

 

Yeah, that will make the memory work again. I don't know about the intelligent key warning, because I didn't have that issue when I swapped the seat but maybe.
