Driver seat before and after ignition
When i sent my car in to get tinted, the dealer gave me a g35x demo as a loner and whenever i parked and turned off the ignition the drivers seat would lower and move back (not recline, just slide backwards) automatically. I cant quite remember if it did this only after i opened the driver door or immediately after turning off the car. And of course upon reopening and sitting in the car it would return to the driver preset position. Is there a way to make my g37s lower and slide back too?

^^ I know that there is a setting in the G35 that you can turn that on & off. I'm unsure about it in the G37S though. I will go and see for myself.
EDIT - Looks like there is no such feature in the G37S.

Not a feature on the G37, some people have been setting Memory 2 to a position such as the seat being all the way back.

Alright, thanks. The memory 2 position sounds like a good idea.

Yeah I think they were worried if you had someone in the back seat you would crush their feet in a coupe.

They could have added some sort of an IR sensor back there, it can't be all that complicated, any other luxury coupe has this feature.

If it makes you feel any better, they also removed it from the 6MT sedans

If that is the case, it was probably the same person that decided to remove all of those voice commands

Probably were getting hammered with warranty claims from wore out seat motors. Removed the enter/exit assit, problem solved.

They still have it on the 08 MT sedans. The dealer mentioned something about issues people had with the seat moving while they had the clutch pressed in

I had an M35 loaner for a few days and to be honest, I hated this feature. I thought it would be cool but it got old quick. If they ever enable this feature in our cars, I hope this it is programmable.
