My initial plans for my exhaust is to take out the cats and put in test pipes but my buddy at work said I should take out the muffler and put on cherrybombs (I have little knowledge of cherrybombs). I’m addition i have started to look into axle back exhaust so now i’m stuck between putting on test pipes or axle back or putting on cherry bombs. Please put in your 2 cents.

 

Cherry bombs are resonators so removing the muffler and swapping to resonators would increase sound without being annoying
Test pipes = rasp
Axle back with cats will be a bit louder than just cherry bombs
axle back without cats will be trumpet land

 

Test pipes with stock exhaust will make it sound really hollow. After 3k rpm you will get some more cabin noise with no drone. Axle back will vary. If you get one with resonators it will keep the drone down, but if you do a straight through with no resonators then it’s all drone. If you are looking for some noise, then axle back. If you want performance then test pipes. Idk anything about cherry bombs and never seen anyone on this forum run one.
