There's obviously all types of combos you can do but the most common I've seen on the forum are:
A) Axle back
B) Cat Back
C) Custom exhaust (un-popular from my experience reading)
Pending your model, options may be limited. AWD models seem to have a more limited market while the RWD models have multiple options. Most exhaust models offer a Y-pipe design but you can also do an X-pipe and straight pipes if custom route is taken.
*Disclaimer* X-pipe may be offered by a name brand exhaust distributor - I just don't remember ever seeing it.
Beyond just an exhaust, you can run either test pipes or a high flow cat. Test pipes will yield the most power but your car will experience a raw gas like smell. You also run the risk of a CEL but a tune can take care of that for you.
