IPL Power steering pump
IPL Power steering pump
I have an ‘11 Ipl, and am currently trying to remove and replace the power steering pump. the pressure relief valve is stuck and wont come off, which is preventing the whole pump from coming off. Any help would be appreciated!!
I'm sure you're referring to the Banjo bolt holding down the high pressure line since the relief valve does not need to be removed in order to remove the pump.
Unsure the type of pump you ended up going with however your IPL should have a Jk01a pump (2 types of pump Jk01a sport/ jk02a base model) The removable nut on the pulley will be the give away.
These pumps usually come pre assembled. My car uses the same pump and I discovered that a Titan/Armada/QX56 use the same pump and by looking for these models you can save up to $100-150 by just using your brackets and pulley.
