New lug nuts

I just recently bought some aodhans (18x9.5+22 front and 18x10.5+22 rear) (ik) they were a steal. But the stock lug nuts do fit. They are too wide in diameter. I was looking for some help so I know what new lug nuts to buy that will fit.

the stock oem lug nuts have a different taper than aftermarket wheels. Its a good thing the oem lug nuts didn't physically fit.

if you are in a bind and need something fast, most auto parts stores will sell "tuner" slim lug nuts. I'm using a set with the internal key type.

Charlie, it won't take you more than a moment to research "types of lugnuts" before you realize your OEM lugnuts are a mag-style design, and won't work with aftermarket wheels.

Almost every aftermarket wheel out there uses an acorn style design.

I've been using McGard lug nuts for my Vossons since I got them. They're reasonably priced, have a floating-seat, and a 10-sided spline drive design which should make them slightly more resistant to theft... and that's because every other spline drive lug nut out there is 6-sided, so to use these you need a McGard adapter.
