I can hear this high pitch squeeling/squeaking coming from the back of the dashboard? Is this the windshield cowl noise I've been reading about or something else? It's like a mouse has made a home in my dashboard

 

Interesting. To me it sounds like something suspension related like bushings but I’m honestly just guessing. I’ve have a lot of noises in my G but haven’t had Fievel and his family move in yet.

 

My 2013 G37x ( 52,000 mi ) had EXACTLY this same little rattle. DROVE ME NUTS. The car has other noises while you are driving, but road noise distracts from those mostly. But THIS noise was when idling at a stoplight! ARRRGGGGHHHH.

And- sure enough- it was this loose washer reservoir neck support that was rattling. I pressed the pop fastener down and the noise stopped but after a week it came back. I have some of those push fasteners around someplace, different sizes - a kit I bought a while back- I'll put a tight one in there.

NOW - if only I can figure out how to fix the sunroof when it's closed - area above the rearview mirror when the sunroof is open rattle when going over minor bumps.....
