CSC or master?

Got a 2011 g37 coupe with 102k.

recently changed the clutch and flywheel. But did not replace the csc.

The car ran for a month, and now its down. The clutch pedal now sinks to the floor. Is my csc now bad?

When all of this happened, the clutch fluid leaked somewhere, just don’t know where.

I’m now trying to bench bleed it. But the fluid is going down very slow. What to yall think is going on. Thanks.

Sounds like your pump is done and many times the pump will send the debris to the CSC. This debris apart from common pump wear is due to the terrible black hose that breaks down and kills the pump prematurely.

You'll need a pump for sure, as far as the CSC goes, the more you try to bleed it on a bad pump the higher the chances are that you'll kill it as well.

Thanks! Damn that sucks tbh. What do you mean by pump? Just got some pressure back, and now I can finally see a leak from the bell housing. Im pretty sure now its the CSC

There are a number of aftermarket solutions which address the design flaws in the CSC, because it's almost a given the OEM CSC will fail eventually in the lifetime of the G/Z 6MT, if not more than once.

Typically, replacement of the OEM CSC with a different solution goes hand-in-hand with a clutch/FW project. Clutch MC too, if your CSC is corrupted. It's a shame you didn't come across that first before getting into this, because as you know the process costs more in labor than parts.

^This x100.

Looks like you've identified the problem. When my clutch pedal sunk to the floor, I looked under the car and saw the fluid around the bellhousing as well.

Would I be able to get around with the csc leaking? Could I top it off everywhere I go?

Nope. Buy the ZSpeed CMAK kit (or something similar), get the car towed to a shop and cry into your beer, man. Sorry.

With 100K, you really should replace the MC and slave. In fact, I believe the FSM says anytime the slave is removed, it should be replaced.

True. The real headache is driving with no clutch. I've never experienced this on a car, but have (to some extent) on a motorcycle. Clutch cable frayed, was down to 2 strands.
