Auto windows on door open/close

Hey guys. Noticed awhile back that my drivers side window doesn’t roll down and back up when I open and close the door. Passenger side is fine. I’ve gone through the windows reset process a few times and it doesn’t work. I had already done it a few weeks ago when I had to pull my battery anyways.

One touch automatic up and down works for both sides, and the car doesn’t have an issue knowing when the drivers door is open. It just won’t roll down that half an inch and then back up when I close the door. Definitely at a loss here on what’s giving me the problems.

Tried the window reset a few more times. Do one window at a time.

If one touch up and down work then your reset worked. I would try disconnecting the battery again and try resetting the window one more time. If you get the one touch working but you still don’t get that little drop down then your SoL I think b/c that’s weird.

How did you confirm this?

When you open the door, the door jamb switch closes which sends a ground signal to the BCM. This, in turn, signals the window switch (via serial link) to lower the window. When you close the door the signal gets cut and the window raises.

There are a few items you can check if you have a multimeter, but unfortunately, if the door jamb switch is indeed working, then your issue is likely the power window main switch.
